David, the cats and I welcomed a 16 year old exchange student from Russia into our home last year. Her name is Dolson and she is from the city of Ulan Ude in Buryatia, Russia.

Dolson is a fascinating young woman. She is extremely talented in the visual arts, and hopes to attend art school within the next year or two. She is also very interested in religion, psychology and mysteries of the world.

She just turned 17 years old recently, and has constantly amazed us with her rapid ability to adapt to life in our crazy world! Since she's come, she's mastered high school, the Philadelphia public transportation system, and American English!
